emsnow has just published an interview with Bennett Bruntil, Regional Sales Manager for Sono-Tek’s Electronics and Advanced Energy Division, conducted during last week’s Semicon West show in San Francisco California. In his interview, Bennett explains the process of ultrasonic atomization and its application in the semiconductor industry for photoresist and other precision coatings. These coatings are typically done with spin coating, but as new technology pushes the limits of smaller and smaller sizes, ultrasonic spray is able to overcome new challenges in the manufacture of precision components. Sono-Tek’s spray equipment is used in R&D and high volume manufacturing in the Semiconductor industry, and we are excited to see new and emerging technologies develop in this area.
