Our new MediCoat DES3000, shown below, is a next generation benchtop implantable stent coating system for spraying ant-restenosis drug/polymer solutions onto cardiac stents. This system features new technologies available only from Sono-Tek. The system was also designed to enable manufacturers using Sono-Tek’s DES1000 to move to the new DES3000 without the need for time consuming regulatory requalification.

Our new MediCoat BCC system for drug coated medical balloons (shown below) is designed to spray anti-restenosis solutions containing Paclitaxel, Rapamycin, Heparin or other bioabsorbable polymers onto balloon mounted catheters. Two system configurations are available – the MediCoat BCC185 is designed to coat balloons up to 185 mm in length and the MediCoat BCC300 coats balloons up to 300 mm in length. The system can also be used to spray stents or other medical devices, simply by by adding a specially designed stent mandrel, or removing the balloon catheter cassette assembly.
